Venue Operations & Course Areas
Racing will take place across four potential course areas, accessed from two sides of Lake Pegasus. Each Race HQ can support two course areas — refer to the Course Maps on the next page for layout details.

Each Course Area will feature:

  • Control Area
  • Setup Area
  • Marshalling Area
  • International Jury Facility
  • Scorer’s Facility

Each Race HQ will provide:

  • Briefing Area
  • Food & Beverage Tables
  • Toilets
  • Where possible, a designated tuning/practice zone

Daytime parking will be managed to allow competitors to rig their boats directly from their vehicles. This ensures safety and convenience by minimising the risk of boats being damaged by vehicle movement. For those staying on-site, overnight parking for up to ten campervans/motorhomes will be available in a secure section at the south end of The Esplanade.

Each evening, the Race Committee will advise competitors of the meeting point for the following day. However, if conditions change during the day and favour a different course area, the Race Committee may relocate racing to the alternate Race HQ.

To assist competitors in preparing for this possibility, the logistics of transitioning between Race HQs will be outlined on this website ahead of the regatta.
